Geffen Playhouse
Geffen Playhouse is a hub of the Los Angeles theater scene, noted for its intimacy and celebrated for its mix of classic and contemporary plays, new works and musicals. Affiliated with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, the Geffen is also an educational resource that provides students with master classes, internships, College Nights and other student tickets. Learn about the Geffen’s student engagement program, which boasts several ways for students to interact with the work being produced.

Nimoy Theater
Located near the UCLA campus on Westwood Boulevard, the UCLA Nimoy Theater is a reimagining of the historic Crest Theatre as a flexible, state-of-the-art performance space.
This dynamic and intimately scaled venue opened this fall. During Bruin Family Weekend 2023 (Sat, Oct 28 at 8 pm), visitors have the opportunity to experience an incredible performance by Ethiopian American musician, Meklit Hadero. Movement LIVE combines the energy of a concert with the intimacy of a podcast, featuring artists at the crossroads of migration and music. Tickets are available for purchase here.

Royce Hall
Royce Hall is an acoustically stunning 1,800-seat theater built in 1929. Modeled after Milan’s San Ambrogio Church, constructed in the tenth and eleventh centuries, Royce Hall was named for philosopher Josiah Royce. It was built in 1929 and was one of the first campus structures. The theater in Royce Hall has played host to a veritable who’s who of performing artists, from George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, and Jimmy Dorsey’s band to Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic, Twyla Tharp, Frank Zappa, Mikhail Baryshnikov, the Philip Glass Ensemble, and many more.
CAP UCLA brings the world’s most innovative and dynamic performing artists live to the stages of UCLA’s Royce Hall, The Theatre at Ace Hotel and the new UCLA Nimoy Theater. We seek out excellence in dance, music, theater, spoken word and a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary collaborations.

Powell Library
Powell Library provides support for the learning and research needs of UCLA undergraduate students and other library visitors. Its programs and collaborations foster students’ academic success and participation in UCLA research through services that include instructional and research consultations offered in multi-use teaching and learning spaces. Powell Library also offers exhibits and programs, including readings and concerts, organized in collaboration with partners campus-wide.

Fowler Museum
The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores arts and cultures with an emphasis on works from Africa, the Pacific and the Americas, past and present. The Fowler enhances the understanding of world cultures through dynamic exhibitions, publications and public programs, informed by interdisciplinary approaches and the perspectives of the cultures represented. Contemporary artwork is presented within the complex frameworks of politics, culture and social action.

Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden
The Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden is one of the most distinguished outdoor sculpture collections in the nation, spanning more than five acres and showcasing more than 70 works by distinguished modern and contemporary artists including Jean Arp, Alexander Calder, Claire Falkenstein, Barbara Hepworth, Gaston Lachaise, Jacques Lipchitz, Henri Matisse, Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi, Auguste Rodin, David Smith and Francisco Zúñiga.

Hammer Museum
The Hammer Museum A vibrant intellectual and creative nexus, the Hammer is fueled by dynamic exhibitions and programs—including lectures, symposia, film series, readings, and musical performances—that spark meaningful encounters with art and ideas.

Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Gardens
The UCLA Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden is an urban oasis and outdoor classroom for Bruins to relax in, study and explore. The 7.5-acre garden is a living, breathing museum of plants — including desert, Mediterranean and tropical rainforest specimens from all around the world.

Athletics Hall of Fame
The Athletics Hall of Fame showcases UCLA’s athletic prowess. In addition to being the first university to reach 100 NCAA championships, UCLA has won a gold medal in every Olympics in which the U.S. has competed since 1932. UCLA’s rich history is captured in this 8,000-square-foot facility, which is home to the Heisman Trophy and an inspirational re-creation of legendary coach John Wooden’s personal “den.”

Jackie Robinson Monument
The Jackie Robinson Monument is a lasting memorial to one of UCLA’s most celebrated alumni and the first player to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball. The 42-inch bronze “42” displays a plaque with one of Robinson’s most oft-quoted sayings: “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
