Evelyn and Mo Ostin Music Center

The Evelyn and Mo Ostin Music Center gives faculty and students access to the latest advances in music technology. The complex includes a high-tech recording studio, mixing rooms, spaces for rehearsal and teaching, a café and social space for students, and the Mike Curb Music and Technology Lab.

Geffen Playhouse

Geffen Playhouse is a hub of the Los Angeles theater scene, noted for its intimacy and celebrated for its mix of classic and contemporary plays, new works and musicals. Affiliated with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, the Geffen is also an educational resource that provides students with master classes, internships, College Nights and other student tickets. Learn about the Geffen’s student engagement program, which boasts several ways for students to interact with the work being produced.

Stephen Daldry’s The Inheritance
In contemporary Manhattan, Eric and Toby are 30-somethings who seem to be very much in love and thriving. But on the cusp of their engagement, they meet an older man haunted by the past, and a younger man hungry for a future. Chance meetings lead to surprising choices as the lives of three generations interlink and collide—with explosive results.
The Inheritance reunites Geffen Playhouse alums Matthew López & Mike Donahue (The Legend of Georgia McBride, 2017) for an extended run of the celebrated Stephen Daldry production after its Olivier Award–sweeping London and Tony Award–winning Broadway runs.

Royce Hall

Royce Hall is an architectural landmark and one of the four original buildings of the Westwood campus. Constructed in 1929, Royce Hall was modeled after a basilica in Milan, Italy. The 1,836-seat auditorium hosts a wide variety of world-renowned performing artists every year.
CAP UCLA, the public-facing organization for the performing arts at UCLA, is dedicated to the advancement of the contemporary performing arts in all disciplines — dance, music, spoken word and theater — as well as the emerging digital, collaborative and cross-platforms utilized by today’s leading artists.

Powell Library
Powell Library provides support for the learning and research needs of UCLA undergraduate students and other library visitors. Its programs and collaborations foster students’ academic success and participation in UCLA research through services that include instructional and research consultations offered in multi-use teaching and learning spaces. Powell Library also offers exhibits and programs, including readings and concerts, organized in collaboration with partners campus-wide.

Fowler Museum
The Fowler Museum at UCLA explores arts and cultures with an emphasis on works from Africa, the Pacific and the Americas, past and present. The Fowler enhances the understanding of world cultures through dynamic exhibitions, publications and public programs, informed by interdisciplinary approaches and the perspectives of the cultures represented. Contemporary artwork is presented within the complex frameworks of politics, culture and social action.

Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden
The Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden is one of the most distinguished outdoor sculpture collections in the nation, spanning more than five acres and showcasing more than 70 works by distinguished modern and contemporary artists including Jean Arp, Alexander Calder, Claire Falkenstein, Barbara Hepworth, Gaston Lachaise, Jacques Lipchitz, Henri Matisse, Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi, Auguste Rodin, David Smith and Francisco Zúñiga.

Hammer Museum
The Hammer Museum offers exhibitions and collections that span classic to contemporary art, as well as more than 300 public programs annually — including film screenings, lectures, symposia, readings, music performances and workshops — that spark meaningful encounters with art and ideas.

Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Gardens
The UCLA Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden is an urban oasis and outdoor classroom for Bruins to relax in, study and explore. The 7.5-acre garden is a living, breathing museum of plants — including desert, Mediterranean and tropical rainforest specimens from all around the world.

Athletics Hall of Fame
Athletics Hall of Fame showcases UCLA’s athletic prowess. In addition to being the first university to reach 100 NCAA championships, UCLA has won a gold medal in every Olympics in which the U.S. has competed since 1932. UCLA’s rich history is captured in this 8,000-square-foot facility, which is home to the Heisman Trophy and an inspirational re-creation of legendary coach John Wooden’s personal “den.”

Jackie Robinson Monument
The Jackie Robinson Monument is a lasting memorial to one of UCLA’s most celebrated alumni and the first player to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball. The 42-inch bronze “42” displays a plaque with one of Robinson’s most oft-quoted sayings: “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
